Age Policy (18+)
Effective date: June 14, 2026
This Age Policy explains who may use Protocol Health and the steps we take to keep the Service limited to adults.
1. The Service is for adults 18 and older
The Service is intended solely for adults who are 18 years of age or older. By creating an account, purchasing, or using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old. This requirement also appears in our Terms of Service.
2. Not directed to children; no collection under 13 (COPPA)
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13, consistent with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.
3. No collection from minors aged 13–17
We also do not knowingly collect personal information from minors under 18. Minors aged 13 to 17 are not permitted to use the Service or to provide any information through it. This is especially important because the Service processes self-reported health information and references dietary supplements, peptides, and other compounds.
4. Age screening
Before collecting health information, we present a neutral age screen that asks you to provide your date of birth. If the information you provide indicates that you are under 18, you will be blocked from continuing and from submitting health information through the Service. You must not misrepresent your age to bypass this screen.
5. Parents and guardians
If you are a parent or guardian and believe a minor has used the Service or provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@myprotocol.health. We will review the report and delete any information collected from a minor in accordance with applicable law.
6. Consequences of misrepresentation
If we determine that an account belongs to someone under 18, we may suspend or terminate the account and delete the associated information. Misrepresenting your age is a violation of our Terms of Service.
